Our NEW ELECTRONICS-ONLY STEM Lab in a Box Options
Our standard monthly, pre-pay, and Lab in a Box options all cover a broad spectrum of STEM subjects – Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Maths and Elecronics.
We’ve had a few requests for electronics-only options and will soon be offering these via online marketplaces such as Amazon as retail products, but you can also order these new packages here at a lower price.
Non-Solder Introductory electronics-only XL package
This package contains five of our most popular electronics-based kits with all electronic components, step-by-step instructions, and breadboards (so no soldering required):
- Learn about LOGIC through experimentation
- Binary/HEX – including 7 segment display
- Building Alarm circuits
- Probability and “random” Schrodinger’s Cat Experiment
- Introduction to the Arduino microprocessor and programming
Between them, these kits give a good step-by-step introduction into electronics as a hobby or career.

XL electronics-only Kit Package (soldering required)
Over 100 hours of electronics experimentation!
Soldering is required with these kits and although full instructions, circuit diagram, and construction notes are given, these kits require a basic knowledge of electronics. This is an ideal follow-on kit from the non-solder package and is aimed at age 14+ (soldering irons get hot!).
As well as 7 tested circuits with all electronics components, PCBs and other required elements (including full instructions in ENGLISH – unlike many kits you can buy online!), this kit also includes the toolkit you will need, comprising soldering iron, solder, stand, de-solder tool, mini cutters, multimeter, mini screwdrivers etc.
The construction kits included may vary from time to time, but will typically include the following or similar:
- Mini pushbutton organ
- Mini metal detector
- 4 digit LED display alarm clock
- Line-following robot
- Doorbell/buzzer
- Voice activated lightswitch
- LED light display circuit

XXL Electronics-only HUGE kit

This combined package is a great introduction to electronics available at a hugely reduced price compared to buying each element seperately.
